The Bakery and Tea Room We bake a wide variety of breads, cakes, bagels and rolls in our artisan bakery. All the baking is fresh everyday using our own stone ground flour and oatmeal. We also produce a selection of delicious cakes and scones (including our famous carrot cake). We serve breakfast and light lunches as well and our produce is available as a takeaway. You can place your baking order in advance as well so you won't be disappointed! The Tea Room is situated on the original kiln drying floor of the mill and really is like taking a step back in time! But on a sunny day, we recommend relaxing in our tea garden. The watermill is open for viewing (and free! ) and you can see how oats and wheat are milled in the traditional way. There is a small shop by the tearoom where you can purchase our flour, oatmeal, tiffin, oatcakes and much more. Bread Making Courses Our Basic Bread Making Courses are the perfect opportunity to discover more about traditional bread making to create a wonderful variety of breads using different types of flour.
