Thank you very much and the entire team is looking forward to welcoming you back to this island and stay with us at The Laguna. With kind regards, Lucia Liu General Manager ArchJM Melbourne, Australia Reviewed July 14, 2019 We stayed a night on the way to Komodo. The check-in was one of the best we have ever had in any hotel. Prompt, courteous, informative.. and all in a lovely surrounding. Our room was delightful. Beautifully appointed on the ground floor with a small deck overlooking one of the many pools. Our first stay was superb. Three days later after a wonderful experience at Komodo and Rinca islands on a small vessel we were again to stay a night at "the Laguna" Nusa Dua. our experience could not have been more opposite or worse than our visit a few days ago. We were met by name by the bell boy as we exited the car.
Other guest amenities available at the hotel include free buffet breakfast for all the guests staying in the hotel, three restaurants and a lounge bar, an infinity swimming pool, a kids' splash swimming pool, an indoor hot tub, a fitness room, a game room, a playground, outdoor games, and a jogging track among many other things.
Dear Editor In their editorial to the BMJ, [1] Greenhalgh et al. advise that surgical masks should be worn in public to prevent some transmission of covid-19, adding that we should sometimes act without definitive evidence, just in case, according to the precautionary principle. The Authors quote a definition of the precautionary principle found on Wikipedia, "a strategy for approaching issues of potential harm when extensive scientific knowledge on the matter is lacking. " However, while no single formulation of that principle has been universally adopted, [2] the precautionary principle aims at preventing researchers and policy makers from neglecting potentially-harmful side effects of interventions. Before implementing clinical and public health interventions, one must actively hypothesise and describe potential side effects and only then decide whether they are worth being quantified on not. Most scientific articles and guidelines in the context of the covid-19 pandemic highlight two potential side effects of wearing surgical face masks in the public, but we believe that there are other ones that are worth considering before any global public health policy is implemented involving billions of people.
