Wet & Hot: Spa Castle in Queens There's a (not so) hidden oasis in New York. Flushing, Queens to be specific. Within the 100, 000 square feet of the fabulous Spa Castle, there are such wonders as outdoor heated and non-heated pools, plus a "Hinoki Bath" made out of 300-year-old wood and filled with heated, bubbling, mineral water. There's also a bevy of saunas: one with LED lights with adjustable colors, one with mineral salts, another with gilded walls, and the "Iceland" cold sauna. In the relaxation room, there are individual chairs with personal TVs where you can enjoy an arm or foot massage while enjoying a tasty beverage. In terms of adults versus kids, there's a designated kids' pool as well as adults-only area. In fact, in the gender-segregated locker rooms, buck naked is the dress code. No suits allowed in the showers, locker-area pools, or saunas. However, in the public areas, cover-ups are the name of the game; but if you're hot and a girl, all bets are off. Pricing is reasonable at $35 for an adult day pass, though they seem to encourage midget attendance because there is a weird pricing range of $20 for people over the age of 2 but under three feet tall.

The food was good quality, however the food and beverages (including alcohol) were very overpriced. 13-Aug-2019 Verified Review, stayed from Fri Aug 09 to Sun Aug 11 2019 at a $510. 00 average nightly rate. "Spectacular" Overall Score 4. 0 / 5 Below zero temps but perfect in spite of that. Spectacular views, great thanksgiving buffet, great service. Only one complaint. Letting children run wild in the lobby is not a good experience for anyone except the children. Most parents are respectful of others but every year there is a problem with the few who are not.

Installation was a breeze, Only takes about 5 to 10 minutes max to install. Me and my wife really love all the different settings, But by far our favorite is the mist setting... It sprays a really fine, high pressure mist that covers your body so much better than any other shower head I have ever used. Plus it doesn't use very much water at all. I'm so pleased with this head I have purchased another one for the spare bathroom. Reviewed in the United States on January 22, 2015 Verified Purchase Quality is great, and the price is seriously right. I feel like some sort of luxurious helmsman with two rain-showerheads. Honestly, I was a dummy for ever having just one showerhead. The top arm can shower you with watery warmth from its base, or you can grab it (since it can be hand-held), and use it as a microphone. Also, my husband (who is not terribly handy) put this thing up in minutes. I can't recommend this enough!
