Burlington is a very trendy town in a beautiful location. With Lake Champlain in one direction and the mountains in the other direction, it will take your breath away. The center of town has tons of shops, restaurants, and things to do, it's impossible to get bored!
Vermont is amazing for scenery. Plenty of trees, outdoor activities, and leaf peeping! Burlington is such a beautiful city. We are right on lake champlain with gorgeous views of the Adirondack Mountains. Downtown we have church street, which is a beautiful walking street lined with shops and good restaurants. The people here are friendly, the air is clean, and as long as you don't mind a bit of cold the weather is really nice. College town, family friendly with a beautiful water front, and plenty of nature activities close by. Downtown - Church Street has a cute downtown feel, but its more for tourists than a useful downtown area for residents. Rent, cost of living & taxes are outrageous. No diversity in jobs available, difficult to have a duel income household. Very walkable but poor infrastructure make traffic worse than it should be for a small town. Winters are harsh and long. Restaurant scene is limited. lots of breweries creates a Sheep-like beer scene of VT where every IPA is "the best beer around"- they all taste same.
