ALL of the staff we encountered were Very Friendly When I read some of these reviews I wonder if there is another gateway lodge nearby … Date of stay: February 2020 Trip type: Traveled with friends My husband stayed at the Lodge 2 weeks ago on the Elopement Package. We were married at the lodge in front of the fireplace in the great room on February 13. We were extremely happy with our stay and all the services: the room and entire lodge is beautiful, all meals we had were fantastic (highly recommend the bison sliders), the massage, the champagne and flowers in our room after the massage, and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. We arranged our stay quickly and therefore were not able to secure a photographer in that short time frame. It didn't matter because the day before our wedding when we checked, we were congratulated by Missy at the front desk. She also asked if we needed pictures to be taken and we said yes. Not only did she take pictures with my phone, she also videoed the whole ceremony.
