I've said things in confidence to management, only to find out another employee heard about it as well. Some of the managers are great, but one in particular is problematic. There's a lot of physical labor that goes into this job, and the pay does not reflect that. You're also expected to complete your list of tasks within your shift, but some days it seems nearly impossible. They've cut hours, but still expect you to get everything done in time, even though they've lessened the time you're able to complete the tasks. There's just no winning. If you can move lightning fast, dont mind physical labor with little pay, and can drown out all the drama and BS, then this may be the perfect job for you. I love the dogs and have created great bonds with them, and I will miss them dearly, but it's just not worth it.
