I was getting a zit, and I used this on it for 2 days, and it disippated before breaking though. I did have another blemish when it arrived, and post-treating with this, it never progressed to a nasty red mess. The only drawback I can say it has is that it does give an odd smell, but it's not overwhelming, and definitley doesn't make this a bad item. Will definitely buy another if/when the bulb on this one wears out.
